He worked all day! he polished and sealed my marble counters in the kitchen then he headed upstairs to my second bathroom. There was poor tile work done by the contractor, when he was done, it looked like a new bathroom. He taught my husband and myself about how to care for marble and he even gave us a brand new bottle of marble cleaner! Now when water or liquid fall on my marble, it beads up! Thank You Jay! Originally we had two bathroom walls tiled by inexperienced tilers and we told them to stop all work because of how sloppy they looked. We then called Jay in to sand these two walls down as well as put in the remainder wall tiles and now it looks great! We couldn't have been happier with Jay's work and his ability to fix our problem!

Cleaned, re-grouted, and polished two bathrooms with marble floors and marble tub surrounds. Member Comments: I found Jay on Angie's List and felt confident about giving him a call since our last two experiences with "The List" were so positive. We had just purchased this older home and wondered if the master bathroom was salvageable. Jay offered a free inspection and estimate, which was a big help because this was no ordinary clean and polish assignment. The marble around the master bathtub surround was stained with rust-like markings, and we had other stone companies tell us they doubted it could be removed. Jay worked on the stain giving it considerable time and effort. The result was amazing. Both bathrooms glisten and shine as if new. Jay is definitely a stone master!

Description Of Work: Jay worked on our white bathroom marble counters, floors and walls to remove old yellow stains and then sealed them. He got most of the stains out. He also cleaned, sanded and sealed our travertine kitchen counters and backsplash and did a very good job. He was very professional and patient. Make sure that hardwood floors are covered before doing any work on your kitchen counters. I would recommend him and will call him again in the future. Jay was very professional and his price was very reasonable.

Jay did things no one else could do on a badly stained marble stream shower. And then he sealed it so it can't happen again. He shows up on time or before, and his rates are very fair. We have, and will continue to use Jay for our stone staining and sealing needs in the future.

Jay does what he says he will do. He works not only hard but smart and at a very good price. He is neat, courteous and finishes job in a timely manner. I use Jay for any marble, granite or tile work, and also all glass shower door and mirror needs. Highly recommended.

Jay Kiraly has worked on several projects for me. First, he refinished the 25-year old gray Carrara marble floors, tub surround, and shower surround in my master bath, and did a superb job. It looks like it was installed yesterday instead of in 1990! He worked cleanly and efficiently and there was absolutely no damage to the fixtures or wall surfaces.

We also had Jay clean the interior fireboxes and stone hearths of two chimneys that leaked. Again, Jay did an excellent job of removing the efflorescence and staining caused by the water and left my living room looking pristine.

This is a contractor who returns calls promptly, arrives on time, and doesn't set foot inside your front door without putting on his protective booties. I would hire him again in an instant any time I had stonework that needed care.
